World No Tobacco Day Scavenger Hunt

Students in Fort Simpson took part in a scavenger hunt on May 31, 2013 for World No Tobacco Day. Students who had signed their promise form looked around in their community to find all the poisons that are listed in cigarettes on the Butthead Website. After they found the poisons they listed how the poisons affect the body when they are inhaled or chewed.
Not only did they win prizes and learn a lot but it looks like Fort Simpson has made their own Poison Box that they can use as an education tool.
Pictured here are two of the winners, Jessica Clilie and Damaris Guinn with CHR Melissa Hardisty-Beaverho.
Way to go Fort Simpson, well done!
